Project Valhalla is the most anticipated project from askanoop, which was burning inside the head of developers, designers and marketing team! We are happy to say that we are near completion. Valhalla (Old Norse Valhöll, “Hall of the Slain”) is Odin’s hall in Norse mythology, located in the Asgardian realm of Gladsheim and is the home for those slain gloriously in battle (known as Einherjar) who are welcomed by Bragi and escorted to Valhalla by the valkyries. Optimized the performance of askanoop website by tweaking the way Apache handles requests.
Apache 2.0 and 2.2 allow us to compress content before sending it to the vistor’s browser. The types of content to be compressed are specified by MIME type. This feature requires Apache’s mod_deflate to function correctly.
